Start by Blueriver in the early morning (depart at your time) from Tan Cang Boat Pier (A100 Ung Van Khiem Str., Ward 25, Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC). The trip starts on Saigon River, passes small channels to Can Giuoc River, then continues on Vam Co River (Long An Province). Tourists can enjoy nice sceneries along the riverside. Fresh fruits and drinks are served on the boat.
On the way to Cai Be, the boat stops at Riverside market (Cho Gao Market) full of local curiosities, tropical fruits and all manner of fish and shellfish
After two hours of running, the boat will reach Mekong River – Northern Branch of Mekong River. Upon arriving at Cai Be, tourists can also go into the center of the island to visit orchards, Cai Be Floating Market by our boat. Here you can see the local people buying and selling on their boat. Along the crisscrossing canals, people in the Plain of Reeds take not only goods of countryside to the Cai Be Floating Market but also their unique cultural characteristics, creating such a beautiful river painting.
Next, you will see the process of coconut candy production and popcorn (or pop-rice) making by local people.
The trip continues to have lunch at Old House, listen to traditional music, visit alcohol and candy making shops. Finish your trip on Mekong Delta and back to Saigon. Tourists are brought back to the Tan Cang Boat Pier. Our staff will transfer you back to the hotel.
